I am the other part of the equation
So also you must deal with me

Beyond any of your petty moral reproach
For without me nothing can grow.
I am the grain of sand
That induces the pearl
I am the chasm
That defines the firmament
And though you forget me,
Or ignore me, or loathe me
I never forget, ignore, or even loathe you.
